Diploma in Commercial Art

A 3 Year Professional Course

The 3 year Diploma in Commercial Art is a professionally designed course. It trains the students keeping in mind the current needs of the Advertising World and also the Industries of Animation, Art and Media.

First Year is devoted to the foundation course including the basics of Nature and Object Drawing, Perspective, Typography, Calligraphy, Illustration, Corporate Identity, etc.

Second Year aims at the basic medias of advertising such as Indoor and Outdoor Publicity.

Third Year is an integration and application of all that is taught in the previous two years. The students design an Advertising Campaign on a product or service with Computer Application.

Duration:

3 years with 3 months internship
Mon-Fri 1.00 to 6.00 p.m.

Eligibility:

Std. Xth with Intermediate Drawing Grade / Foundation or Std. Xllth (with good command of English)

Internship:

3 months compulsory training with an Advertising Agency, Design Studio, etc. The internship period trains the students to meet the needs and requirements of the actual world of Advertising.
